Hats off!

2 exciting points today, my dear cyberpals! Try to control your excitement, as i dont want you leaving nasty stains on my blog...
Point one: the fabled bowler hat has arrived, so i have spent the day trying to work the achingly cool surrealist angle. I think it is more probable that i worked the bizarre, "alternative" tryhard look, but who cares, its a great hat. considering i was hanging out with someone who insisted she wear the bag with the cardboard box the hat came in in it over her bum like a weird square bustle, i think i was the more normal looking one...

Point two: I had me first driving lesson today! my instructor has a slightly disturbing tendency to look slightly to the left of where im sitting when he talks to me, which maks me wonder how safe it is for him to be teaching me to drive...surely if he sees things about 1ft to the left of where they actually are, he cant be safe? Anyway, i didnt kill myself, or anyone else, and i did starting and steering and stopping, and i went round the triangle of grass with the war memorial on it in the village. Everybody, steer clear of Minchinhampton Common for the next few wednesdays, I'll be up there wreaking havoc and leaving a trail of destruction behind me as i drive....

what a wasted weekend

in the last 3 days i have:
been to the pub
been for tea
tried to figure out how to make a giant soft toy totoro
bought a bowler hat.

i love lazy weekends!
what i dont like is the bit where i cant stop spending money

I have new hair also, witha fringe an all!!
